And first Corinthians is so clear that we need to build our spiritual temple with all the resources that God gave us. Each of us may be different and what we’re able to do. But we should be at least coming to the realization that the basis of our faith needs to be in Jesus and the significance of his life and death here on earth. We will be tested directly and indirectly. If we’re not growing spiritually we’re probably dying a slow death. I don’t want to be boiled like a frog😝

The account of Solomon building the temple really makes me wonder what he was really like as a person. If he had an honest heart and really wanted to honor God, then he used everything he had to show that. Kind of the opposite of the widows might in quantity, but the same and quantity.
