And John today the recounting of the crowds experience and how Jesus handled the situation made me think of the words in proverbs that you don’t want to speak out in anger or ignite a situation. Like the closing verse, they said it wasn’t time yet for Jesus to die. The other thing Nothing is going to mean anything to us unless we put time and effort into it

The readings in proverbs yesterday and today we’re so full of truisms I called them. And being able to relate to people from that long ago and realize what was happening then and the way people behaved is so much like today when you see the start contrast those who follow God with those who don’t, it helps to make it simple to know what to do. It also helps us realize it takes work and commitment from a place of love has done for us and how God made our redemption possible.
