The second reading speaks to me about not taking our life on earth for granted. Nor indulging and some sort of self-pity or insecurity that excuses us from doing what we are capable of doing. The gift of life and the hope of life everlasting in a perfect world, and as a complete human in the image of God should help us to embrace the person we are realizing that it is only with God’s help and his grace that we can be an instrument of our creator and not a tool of this world

The account in our first reading could certainly prove that nothing is being hidden about the history of the line of ancestry to Christ. And I think it should be a caution and a lesson to everyone who reads this account that our human tendency to do bad is something to guard against. None of us Are immune to doing some really awful things if we’re not staying close to God

Paul demonstrates what it is to be a true friend and Christlike by calling the Ephesians out on how they are allowing false thinking to influence them. And he lovingly encourages them to remember what they have learned as the truth from Christ and supports them to the extent he can.

Learning about what happened with David his son, and Beth Sheba does help me understand the differences between before Christ and after Christ. David ‘s words that he knew he would join his son, but his son would never come back to this earth speaks to what he knew at that time as far as what God would do for mankind. Thanks to our Lord and Savior. We know that our future is going to fulfill all of God‘s promises. Even when we lose love ones during this time we have faith we will be together
