I think it’s very important that we understand that there are consequences for bad actions and that God and through his human agents definitely warn us of these things. So it is not from God the bad things happen. It’s a result of human stubbornness and refusal to follow Christ. And your points about forgiveness are so important to remember that whether you’re the one being forgiven or being forgiving of others peace and drawing closer to God, are there results of doing this
