Well, I do find it confusing or hard to understand how the spirit of the Lord could come over Saul and it result in him trying to kill David. And then in the beginning, it was Saul saying that he would not execute David. Of course he didn’t because God‘s plan was for Jesus to come through that family line. So it ended well for us.
