The account of Jesus, turning over the money tables to me, shows that righteous indignation is proper. If we are showing anger because we don’t like something, then it will not be pleasing to God. The temple of our body and the places that we designate for worshiping God are sacred And need to be respected.

The accountant, Ezra made me really think about God‘s continued involvement with mankind, despite the unfaithfulness of his people, but also the wickedness of mankind throughout history, and the resistance towards God‘s will being fulfilled here on earth. It gives me confidence that what God‘s purpose is for this earth will be fulfilled. Of course I want it to happen sooner than later.

Thoughts on the 1st Kings passage, Solomon’s extravagance. Bottom line--to whose glory? As JS Bach notated on all his religious music ’soli Deo gloria’ to God alone be the glory.
