To continue: the Holy Spirit. Not everyone is going to have the Pentecost experience to prove they are filled with the Holy Spirit. Most of the accounts in the Bible are of people just like you, and I trying to understand what the scriptures are saying, making mistakes, doubting Having fear, and sometimes manifesting the fruits of the spirit that are proof that we can be filled with Holy Spirit and accomplish God‘s will.

It sounds like people throughout history have had to struggle in their journey to understand that there is only one true God. Seems to be part of our imperfection that we want proof in ways that we can understand, we want evidence that makes sense to us.
