Continuing that thought. Judas showed that he had more interest in money than his faith and belief in Jesus and God. So to me, it’s absolutely necessary to resist and push back thoughts that are not God‘s will or I could be like Judas and betray God.

The subject of Judas, the betrayer has made me think from the first time I read it. It seems as though he made choices to feed on his imperfect desire for money as time went on, so it wasn’t a sudden impulsive characteristic. He is an example to me .

Today when we were reading, Job I thought about his suffering and compared it to the suffering I’ve experienced and those in the world that are injuring worse than I ever experienced, and it occurred to me how the Bible does teaches that there is nothing that can be done to us here on earth that can compare to the gift of everlasting life that God can give us. So today it just helps me to want to pray more to God to help me her and to be patient and wait for his rescue of me and this world.
