The way God dealt with the Israelites shows as how God loves us and wants to take care of us. So to me is like they are an example of how God feels about his entire creation and so we are like special and blessed if we accept him. Like he said, if for some reason, we choose not to then it will not go well for us. To me, it’s like a person who is poor in possessions and status. I am rich with satisfaction of what I get from God. We are special in god’s eyes
