Just another thought, for me, it’s Jesus standing up for his father, and, excepting that he must give the sacrifice to save the world. Meaning, he had to be the opposite of what Adam and Eve were. Just imagining what he went through leaves me, breathless, speechless, in awe, definitely humbled. What a great way to start the day thinking of the example that Jesus said, and the sacrifice he made. I can’t match it, but I can try to emulate his faith.

Proverbs is so straightforward with telling us how our actions are attitude going to our very core of what we think, and believe it’s really going to end up either being acceptable to God, or not either being able to fight the fight in this world or be eaten up by this world. The accounts of Jesus, being tempted by Satan, strikes me as being so very important for our salvation. We acknowledge that he was human, but this was the ultimate test of how strong his love for God was.
