Just a little more about why he made what seems like a week debate point with the Pharisees. He knew it wasn’t debating the legalities that would convince any of them. And there were cases of different ones becoming believers by witnessing Jesus being a light in the world.

I too found the scripture and John very curious because Jesus really didn’t seem to make a solid legal point in talking to the Pharisees to convince them that he was godson. Then I considered the number of times John wrote about Jesus being alive in the world and I almost wonder if Jesus knew that if someone of them were going to believe in him, it would be because they recognized that he was the light of the world. So that was the teaching point he wanted to emphasize.

Yesterday‘s scripture that was very similar to today’s and first kings is one that really speaks to my heart because I have prayed for several years now for wisdom and discernment. In the CEB version verse nine words it a little different than the one you read today. It sounds more like Solomon. Because no one is able to govern this important people of yours without your help. I just find it interesting that a couple words can change our understanding of the writers meaning
