That was a good connection you made and it was intentional in lectionary’s selection of the texts as yesterday’s reading was about the Queen of Sheba. I meant to make that connection in my reflections, but forgot.

The scripture reading in Luke today made me think of the point being made about the queen of the south, traveling to hear Solomon‘s wisdom. The queen of Sheba and her amazement, and her acknowledgment of how great Solomon‘s accomplishments were and giving credit to his God for this all being able to be accomplished. And the rewards she gave to solo men and he gave to her. It makes me think that I should be seeking God and His wisdom. Acknowledging what Jesus has done for me. Not demanding signs
