I tried to imagine what the people must’ve felt when Jesus healed them so quickly after being asked if he was the one John had told them was coming. Again, it affirms our trust and believe that Jesus can and wants to heal us spiritually now and physically in God‘s own time. His words really force us to think about what we believe. The way he pose the questions to those asking him if he was the one. He told them it is not going to be the fancy ones in their palaces.

The words, I say it tell me that we need to hear the words of what Jesus is sacrifice and what his second coming will do for us. We can’t hear it too much. We need to shut out the noise and the false promises that we hear from the world around us.
